About Sameet Shah, D.O.

Sameet Shah, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in gastroenterology. He graduated from the Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in cell biology and neuroscience. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency program at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center. Dr. Shah’s areas of interest include colon cancer and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Dr. Shah entered the field of gastroenterology because “It is exciting but not an exact science. It gives me the perfect balance of medicine and procedure.”
